James S. Fellin is a Featured Speaker in Several Local and National Forums

On April 20, 2005 Mr. Fellin will be addressing the American Society of Woman Accountants in the Ramada Inn in downtown Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. The topic will be “A Primer on Forensic Accounting”. The Nottingham Group Accepted into Failsafe Network of Firms
February 9, 2005

The Nottingham Group is pleased to announce that it has been accepted into the elite Failsafe network of firms. Failsafe is a group of approximately ten affiliated firms specializing in forensic accounting, business investigations, asset tracing, employee background checks and other related services. The Failsafe network provides its members and their clients with a wider breadth of services and geographic coverage than can be offered in any one firm. Failsafe members include firms headquartered in various cities including Philadelphia, Atlanta, Miami, Pittsburgh, Toronto with offices in the United States, Canada, South America and Europe. Membership in the Failsafe network is by invitation only and all member firms must meet and adhere to strict quality and professional standards.

The annual meeting for the leaders of Failsafe member firms took place in Miami, Florida on February 7-8. James Fellin of the Nottingham Group attended the meeting with the leaders of several affiliate firms.

Pittsburgh – James S. Fellin, CPA, CFE, was elected as the president of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). This is a great honor for Mr Fellin and the Nottingham Group. The Pittsburgh chapter of the ACFE is part of the international Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. A leader in the global anti-fraud community, the ACFE has over 32,000 members, sponsors more than 100 chapters worldwide and provides anti-fraud educational materials to over 100 universities. The ACFE is reducing business fraud world-wide and inspiring public confidence in the integrity and objectivity within the profession.

The Nottingham Group Opens in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH – James S. Fellin, CPA, CFE is pleased to announce the formation of the Nottingham Group. The Nottingham Group is a boutique consulting firm specializing in litigation support, forensic accounting, and conducting fraud and business investigation. James S. Fellin, CPA CFE was named Managing Director of the firm. Mr. Fellin has over 16 years of experience providing forensic accounting and litigation support services to counsel and clients in Pittsburgh, nationally and abroad. He is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner and has extensive testimony experience. James is a frequent lecturer on a variety of fraud and commercial damages topics.
